For the my past three years of high school, I've been taking Model UN and throughout all this time I've learned many things. I believe that the most important thing I learned was that no matter in what part of the world you live in, there's always going to be issues and conflict. As I always had a country to represent, as a matter a fact I had many, I learned so much about those countries and the problems they consist of. It's always important to know that maybe across that border, or across the ocean, things may always be the opposite of what your life is over here.
Model UN can apply to my everyday life in many ways. Model UN is about coming together and solving an important issues and no matter what day it is, I always have issues every day. Whether is between choosing what to wear to issues with a friend, I guess I can say that Model UN has expanded my mind to always choose the wiser choice to whatever the issue is. Just like we always did in a simulation.
